Orange County Facial Plastic Surgeon Announces New Facial Rejuvenation Procedures for After a Massive Weight Loss

Thursday, June 11th, 2015

Newport Beach, CA (PRWEB) May 01, 2015

Losing weight, especially 100lbs or more, is a spectacular achievement that should be celebrated. It is the reward of weeks and often months of hard work and dedication, both in the gym and in the kitchen. Most people say that one of the things they look forward to most is the radical change in their outward appearance. Unfortunately, there is a side affect of massive weight loss that most people are unaware of, yet are often affected by—extra, lose sagging skin.

As we gain weight over the years, our skin has to stretch to accommodate the extra bulk. However, in the situation of massive weight loss the skin often will not return back into its natural starting position as one might hope. Instead, as body mass is reduced the body’s skin is left loss, hanging and sagging in unwanted places. This occurs over the entirely of the body, including the face and neck, and can be an unwelcome surprise for those who complete a major weight loss.

“Major weight loss from bariatric/gastric bypass surgery, diet, or exercise can accelerate aging and lead to sagging of the facial skin. Facial aging occurs faster in individuals who have lost significant weight because the fatty layer beneath the skin surface thins and diminishes at a much faster rate compared to a person who has not lost a lot of weight in a short period of time. Natural Facelift is an ideal for patient with massive weight loss”

Board certified facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Kevin Sadati, has developed a revolutionary procedure to correct and remove the excess skin called the Natural Facelift. Dr. Sadati has been nationally recognized for his self-developed facial muscle tightening technique, and published in major plastic surgery journals and publications. He often combines this renowned technique with Facial Fat Grafting utilizing Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). By performing these two facial rejuvenation procedures simultaneously, the face is restored to its natural youthfulness, combating the affects of major weight loss.

Dr. Kevin Sadati is one of the top California facial plastic and ENT surgeons specializing in minimally invasive facial and nasal surgery. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Otolarynology/ Facial Plastic Surgery (AOBOO-HNS), Diplomate of the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery (ABCS) and a member of the prestigious American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery (AAFRS).

Dr. Kevin Sadati has over a decade of experience in the field of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, as well as nose and sinus surgery, and has become one of the most sought after Newport Beach and Orange County facelift, rhinoplasty, face and neck liposuction and sinus surgery specialists.

First Facial Plastic Surgeon in Atlanta To Offer NeoGraft Advanced Hair Transplant

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2015

Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 28, 2015

Dr. Benjamin Stong of Kalos Facial Plastic Surgery, LLC in Atlanta, Georgia proudly offers the latest in hair loss treatment. Dr. Stong is double board certified and the only facial plastic surgeon in Atlanta to offer the NeoGraft Hair Transplant System. NeoGraft involves the automated use of Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE), which is considered the gold standard in hair transplantation.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, hair loss affects over 50 million men and 30 million women in the United States. Hair loss can be caused by a variety of factors including hormonal changes, aging, genetics, illness and medications. Dr. Stong is qualified to accurately diagnose a patient’s hair loss cause and recommend the best possible hair restoration procedure. The NeoGraft system has helped countless men with male pattern baldness, restoring a full, healthy head of hair with natural hairlines.

In the past, hair transplant surgery consisted of a “strip method” technique, which can leave unsightly linear scarring and restrict a patient’s hairstyle. With the NeoGraft technology, patients can now undergo natural hair restoration surgery without the use of a scalpel or the need for stitches. NeoGraft is an automated machine for Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplant surgery. It relies on the precision and skill of a surgeon to guide the device and extract individual follicular units from the donor area of the scalp. Healthy grafts are then implanted into the recipient area of the scalp in a way that is consistent with a patient’s natural hair growth pattern.

NeoGraft offers invaluable advantages to both men and women with hair loss. The procedure is highly efficient, requires minimal downtime and delivers superior, long-lasting results. “I feel fortunate to help patients, both men and women, with such innovative and minimally invasive hair transplant techniques,” said Dr. Stong. “Hair loss can significantly hinder your quality of life, impacting your emotional well being and even your professional career. We are pleased to offer NeoGraft as an effective, state-of-the-art hair loss solution that is both comfortable and convenient.”

The cost of the Neograft procedure is based strictly on the number of grafts needed to achieve a patient’s ideal results. Dr. Stong also offers Follicular Unit Transfer and Non-surgical hair loss treatment in addition to the NeoGraft automated FUE procedure.

Double board certified Atlanta plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Deutsch recently attended the annual Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium, an event that garners over 500 medical professionals from across the globe. Local Plastic Surgeon Laura Sudarsky, Partner In EssE Plastic Surgery, Donates Surgical Skills To Needy Guatemalan Children

Friday, November 14th, 2014

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (PRWEB) November 07, 2014

Board-certified plastic surgeon Laura A. Sudarsky will donate her surgical skills in the Medical Missions Program for Healing the Children Florida (HTC), a not-for-profit organization dedicated since 1982 to providing volunteer life altering healthcare to children in need in developing countries.

Dr. Sudarsky, the only female plastic surgeon currently participating in the program, will travel on November 15th from Fort Lauderdale to Guatemala, where much of the population lives in poverty. During a five day stay she is expected to operate on 30 to 40 children at Hospital Nacional De Amatitlan, a government facility founded in 1862. Common procedures include craniofacial conditions, e.g., cleft lip and palate. These birth defects hamper babies during breast feeding and can result in ear infections and speech defects if untreated. Their cause is unknown. Other procedures include reconstructive burn and syndactyly surgeries (where two or more digits are growing together). Many families cook outdoors, and the children suffer burns from the flames. Fabrics are often not flame retardant, and clothes catch on fire.

Dr Sudarsky has been travelling with HTC for 20 years, and has operated on more than 2500 children during her medical missions abroad. She has served as the Director of Plastic Surgery for HTC and as a Team Leader for many years.

“The satisfaction of returning a child back to their parents’ arms after a life altering surgery is indescribable,“ states Sudarsky.

Many children with medical problems in developing nations live out their lives in a severely limited fashion or do not survive. HTC has provided first class medical care to more than 191,572 children in 100 plus countries, including the United States. Donated in-kind services provided by volunteers in 2013 totalled $ 960,375.00.

Fluent in English, French and Spanish, Dr Sudarsky has long been dedicated to “giving back” by working with underserved groups of women and children. She has been recognized by Operation Smile and Healing the Children for her multilingual clinics in impoverished countries, and she is the recipient of multiple humanitarian awards including a Certificate of Special Recognition from the United States Congress. Her travels with HTC have taken her as far as Afghanistan and Bangladesh where she worked with acid burn victims and Colombia during the height of guerilla warfare.

Dr. Sudarsky had been Chief of Plastic Surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital, New York. For many years she has been involved in research and innovation in the field in breast surgery. A pioneer in transumbilical breast augmentation (TUBA), she published a series in the Annals of Plastic Surgery. She taught the procedure to colleagues and continues to develop and refine new techniques. She has presented in national conferences and published in surgery journals. Trained in cosmetic/reconstructive breast surgery, she is also one of a small group of physicians to be board certified in wound care.

Dr. Sudarsky and Dr. Tracey H. Stokes recently announced the opening of ESSE, a joint practice focusing on aesthetic surgery of the face, breast and body, located at 6333 North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308; (954) 533-1671. According to some estimates, only one in nine plastic surgeons in the U.S. are women, suggesting that male surgeons handle the vast majority of cosmetic procedures.

Naples Plastic Surgeon Introduces Pain-free Fat Removal Technique

Friday, September 19th, 2014

Naples, Florida (PRWEB) September 18, 2014

Dr. Andrea Basile, MD, one of the most respected plastic surgeons in the nation, has expanded his services at Basile Plastic Surgery to include Coolsculpting. This non-invasive technique is quickly becoming one of the most sought after treatments in the world for the removal of fat because of its lack of pain or strain.

According to Dr. Basile, Coolsculpting will greatly benefit those patients with body contouring concerns who do not wish to undergo a surgical procedure. He also said this procedure is ideal for people who are fit, but just need to address some “stubborn fat.”

“We have a lot of fans of the practice who are in good shape, but have one or two ‘trouble spots,’ and they have no time for surgery or the recovery that goes with it,” explained Dr. Basile. “Coolsculpting allows them to come in during their lunch hour for a treatment of the area, and weeks later that area has lost 25 percent of its volume.”

Coolsculpting reduces unwanted fat deposits by freezing the fat cells which patients have a difficult time removing through standard exercise and dieting. The fat is destroyed and eliminated naturally, leaving a more sculpted body contour. Fat cells are susceptible to freezing temperatures, and when they die, it does not affect the surrounding area. The body’s natural healing process then removes all of the dead cells. Dr. Basile said the best part for patients is Coolsculpting requires no needles, anesthesia, preparation or downtime for patients.

“We can finally help patients with one or more stubborn fat deposits. They can trim these areas without having to jump through the hurdles of surgery,” he said.

All treatments are done in the Basile Plastic Surgery office. Appointments are scheduled for an hour at a time and at the convenience of the patient. Because there is no downtime from the procedure, Dr. Basile said almost all of his Coolsculpting patients head back to work or back to other activities such as the gym following their treatments.

Basile Plastic Surgery is one of only three plastic surgery centers offering Coolsculpting in Collier County at this time, and is the first to offer treatments with the brand new Outer Thigh CoolSmooth Applicator.

“The best candidate for Coolsculpting is a healthy man or woman with a stubborn spot or two that is not responding to a healthy lifestyle…” said Dr. Basile. “…who doesn’t want the trouble of going to the operating room, but does want their pooch or love handle gone!”

With over 20 years of experience, Dr. Basile has focused his practice on the aesthetic rejuvenation of the face, breast and body. He has earned a national reputation for his exceptional skill, exceptional training and innate artistic eye. The New York City native is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, and dedicates a tremendous amount of time to expanding his skills on the latest plastic surgery trends and techniques, which is what led him to adding Coolsculpting to his practice. Dr. Basile said his goal for every patient is to achieve the most beautiful and natural looking results possible.

Basile Plastic Surgery is known for being on the forefront of cosmetic surgery. The mission of the practice is to “help you become more confident and empowered by increasing the satisfaction in your appearance.” Dr. Basile handpicked each member of the staff for their attention to detail, professionalism and desire to improve the quality of life of others.
